For over 26 years I have specialised in treating and supporting fertility couples who are looking to conceive naturally or with the help of IUI and IVF treatments. We also treat Menopausal symptoms and Gynaecology conditions. I offer specialised Fertility Acupuncture, as well as lifestyle and dietary/nutritional advice for both men and women who are interested in starting a family and improving their fertility health.

We help those suffering from Unexplained Infertility, Multiple Miscarriages, Recurrent IVF Implantation Failure, Male sperm issues, PCOS, Endometriosis and supporting Pregnancy.

Our Integrated service covers testing of your Female Hormone levels with a quick turnaround of results to aide our diagnosis with referral links for Ultrasound scans and Male sperm testing. These results can aide our overall fertility acupuncture diagnosis.

It's worth noting that it takes a woman's body naturally at least 90 days to select, grow and mature Antral follicles and to cleanse and build the Endometrium and we work within that natural timeframe. At least 3 menstrual cycles of treatment is required to enhance fertility whether for Natural conception or before IVF starts, we call it Pre-conception Care.

Acupuncture for Pain Management

I practice an old family lineage-style called Master Tung Acupuncture, which is different from most treatments that you will find in the UK from other Acupuncturists, to help calm the central nervous system and release endorphins for painful areas. The Tung ststem is a 700-year-old pain-free style of Acupuncture, using needles on the opposite side of your body, away from the site of pain or injury and specialises in treating PAIN. Tung was taught in a family lineage style, whereby teachings were handed down from father to son. It was a privilege to learn the Tung system from Susan Johnson Lic.Ac, who was a pupil of pioneering acupuncturists Dr Miriam Lee and Dr Wei-Chieh Young, both personally taught by the late Master Tung.

This system has helped me become a Pain Specialist using these Tung special pain relieving points for modern day health issues, with further advanced training with Dr. Henry Mccann.

For deeper muscular pain and tension problems, I also use Chinese Cupping, which is an ancient treatment where special cups are placed on your skin to create a suction effect. Cupping can enhance your treatment, improve blood circulation within the painful area, soften tight muscles and produce quicker results.

If you have tight painful muscles and joints, you may also benefit from TUINA. Tuina is a traditional form of Chinese Bodywork therapy incorporating acupressure, deep tissue techniques, stretching and spinal manipulation with adjustments.

I treat back and neck pain/stiffness, sciatica, frozen shoulder, headaches, migraines and general chronic pain.

If you have medical insurance, especially with Medicash, HealthShield and Simply Health, you may find that it covers Acupuncture when it is carried out by an Acupuncture Pain Specialist who is registered with the Tibetan and Eastern Medicine Association or the British Acupuncture Federation  You may be able to have your treatment on insurance if you are looking for support with IVF treatment, IUI, infertility, or if you are struggling with long-term chronic pain problems.
